Sunday Mornings
The 9am Service
Our Early Gathering
This service is also live-streamed - our Online page has more details.
Based around liturgy and includes elements such as hymns and Holy Communion as well as prayer for healing and perhaps some Northumbria worship as well. It is a wonderful opportunity to encounter God in liturgy, sacrament and stillness in the surroundings of a beautiful and historic building. We follow the lectionary with occasional topical series.
Our monthly 9am service schedule is:
1st Sunday – Holy Communion
2nd Sunday – Hymns at 9 / Peace Service
3rd Sunday – Holy Communion
4th Sunday – Morning Worship
5th Sunday – Variable
Our 9am Holy Communion service is held in the building, but we are continuing to stream it as well. To access the steam, click the button below.
The 10.30am Service
with children and youth ministry
A blend of old and new styles of worship and we will open the Bible together to learn more about God and our place in his great plan.
We always leave time to listen to God and for Prayer Ministry, where friends are available to pray with you for any needs you may have, be they physical, spiritual or emotional.
We run our children's programme every week:
Sparklers for 3-5's and Fuse for 5-11's.
Our youth programme is on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th weeks of the month:
Our monthly 10.30 am service schedule is:
1st Sunday – All Age Service
2nd Sunday – Holy Communion
3rd Sunday – Morning Worship
4th Sunday – Holy Communion
5th Sunday – Variable
Our 10.30am service is held in the building and alternates between All Age, Morning Worship and Holy Communion. Highlights from the 10.30am service will be available on YouTube after the service and where possible we will try to livestream this service. We livestream the 10.30 service on Twitch.tv/stmarys_luton. The All Age service on the first Sunday of the month will generally not be available on YouTube.
Sunday Evening
Church at Four
(FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH ONLY)
Church at Four is an alternative worshipping community that gathers at St Mary's, Luton in the Church Hall. In partnership with The Treehouse, the University of Bedfordshire's chaplaincy, this service is designed in cafe style and focused on being a welcoming space for 20's - 30's. Though of course, everyone is welcome.
