St Mary's Youth go to Satellites!

This summer we have teamed up with Luton Unite to take Luton's youth to Satellites summer camp from the 4th - 9th of August. But, what is Satellites? 

Satellites is a summer event for young people, brought to you by the team at Youthscape. It's a five-day gathering, designed to inspire teenagers to live with God at the centre of their lives for the other 360 days of the year.

This year the camp is heading to the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet. The cost for each young person is £165. This covers, tents, food, transport, the ticket and lots and lots of fun activities. We understand that finances are tough for some at the moment and so each church that is going with Luton Unite is going to be doing some fundraising so we can offer a bursary scheme to help. Not only will this be an incredible experience individually, but the young people will also have the opportunity to meet and journey with other Christians their age from Luton.

To sign your child up, there are two parts. Firstly, please click the sign-up button below and book your child's place through their booking system. Secondly, email me when you have signed your child up so I know how many tents I need to prepare for. The deadline for signing your child up is the 5th of July. If you need any help with this please let me know.  

If your child would like to attend 'Satellites' it will be essential for you to attend our Parents/Carers meeting on Wednesday 5th July 2023 from 7pm-8pm at Youthscape. This will be an opportunity to meet the team who will be supervising your child whilst away at the event, find out more about 'Satellites', receive important information about what your child will need to bring, and to ask any questions you may have.
