Weddings, funerals, baptisms and private prayer - preparing for lockdown relaxation
The latest information is below. Every blessing, Mike
Yesterday we received news that the next stage of lockdown will permit churches to open for private prayer. In a building of the nature of St Mary’s that will take some time to setup so that it works safely for everyone. We will continue working on that this week. This does not mean that we can open for services but it is for private prayer.
Currently, our guidance is that funerals should only happen at the Crematorium or at the graveside.
Currently there can be no weddings in church buildings until further notice.
We are not taking baptisms at this time.
