Part of the programme will includes a world premiere performance by Luton Youth Orchestra, side by side with The Royal College of Music Sparks Mentors, playing newly commissioned piece ‘Turning Towards the Sun’, by composer Simon Speare, Head of Composition at the RCM Junior Department. Written especially for Luton Mix Mix and inspired by the Bio Readings from 12 locations in and around Luton, produced by local Visual Artist Gayle Storey. Concert start time 7pm and will finish by 9 pm.
